BDO advises Stadtwerke Krefeld (SWK) on the acquisition of a majority stake in Kälte-Klima-Peters Gm

An interdisciplinary transaction advisory team of BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungs-gesellschaft and BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH under the leadership of Dietmar Flügel (Partner Coporate Finance/M&A) comprehensively advised SWK ENERGIE GmbH on the acquisition of a majority stake in Kälte-Klima-Peters GmbH. As a future part of the energy and water business segment of the SWK Group, which is managed by SWK STADTWERKE KREFELD AG, Kälte-Klima-Peters GmbH will continue to drive business growth during the energy and heating turnaround.

 

The medium-sized company from Meerbusch specializes in the design, installation, maintenance and servicing of complex and innovative refrigeration and air-conditioning solutions as well as heat pumps and photovoltaic systems - primarily for large commercial and industrial customers throughout Germany. With the completion of the transaction, the SWK Group is strengthening its activities, particularly in contracting solutions for renewable energies.

 

As a regionally oriented infrastructure service provider, the SWK Group offers a comprehensive range of supply, transport and waste management services, which cover the entire spectrum of the energy industry value chain, among other things.  With the successful acquisition, the company continues to pursue its course of value-oriented growth, the board duo Kerstin Abraham and Carsten Liedtke are pleased to report: "We are now strengthening our competencies in the business field of plant construction and technology. This will enable us as SWK to offer the complete value chain of energy supply even better in the future."
