In the Tax Technology service unit, BDO has bundled its expertise for all topics relating to the contact area between taxes and IT. Here, tax consultants, IT specialists and software developers drive the establishment of digital end-to-end processes in collaboration with clients. This includes, on the one hand, the import of large amounts of data via suitable interfaces and their automated further processing for tax service provision and, on the other hand, the analysis of this digital data for tax compliance.
Thus, the increased use of digital applications with accompanying process standardization leads to significant internal efficiency gains in the tax function at the client and in the interaction with BDO. Automated workflow tools "beyond Excel", the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and the visualized analysis of key financial figures take up significant space in the Tax Technology area.
BDO Tax Technology meets the challenges of mass revaluation of inhomogeneous real estate portfolios for property tax purposes with its own web-based application "Grizzly", which automates the mass import of real estate data and recalculates the tax burden.
