BDO advises Green Landscaping Group AB on its market entry acquisition of Schmitt & Scalzo GmbH in G

With this platform acquisition Green Landscaping Group AB, headquartered in Stockholm/ Sweden, enters the German market based on a well-prepared market entry strategy and takes an additional step into the continental European market in line with its growth strategy.

Schmitt & Scalzo GmbH Garten -und Landschaftsbau was founded in 1996 and, since then, has become a leading landscaping company in the Rhein/Main area in Hesse, Germany. The company offers a comprehensive range of maintenance, landscaping and infrastructure services for outdoor environments to mainly public customers. In 2022, the company generated net sales of around EUR 13 million and employed approximately 50 people.

Green Landscaping Group AB is a home for entrepreneurs. The service areas it is involved in are landscaping, ground maintenance and snow & ice removal. The Group has more than 2,000 employees and net sales of SEK 4.8 billion. Following the market entry in Germany via the Schmitt & Scalzo acquisition, Green Landscaping Group is keen to further build out its German presence via further acquisitions.
