BDO advised Volution Group on the acquisition of German ventilation specialist getAir GmbH

A multidisciplinary transaction team from BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, led by Frank Scholl and Felix Fries (Deal Advisory) as well as Liliane Kleinert and Lars Erichsen (M&A Real Estate Tax), has successfully advised Volution Group plc on the acquisition of getAir GmbH. BDO was commissioned to perform financial and tax due diligence as well as SPA advisory and other transaction-related services.
Volution Group is a leading international designer and manufacturer of energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions. Headquartered in Crawley, UK, the FTSE 250 group operates across the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and Australasia, supplying ventilation products and systems for residential and commercial buildings through a portfolio of established brands in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Croatia.

getAir GmbH is a leading provider of decentralised residential heat-recovery ventilation systems. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Mönchengladbach, Germany, the company serves a wide range of primarily German and European OEM customers. By combining in-house manufacturing with strong product development capability, getAir has built a leading position in the German decentralised heat-recovery market.
